Dak Prescott throws first career interception (Video)
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott finally threw his first interception of the season against the Green Bay Packers.
The streak has finally come to an end. On Sunday, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott ended up throwing the first interception of his career. After being perfect through 176 passes to begin his career and setting an NFL record, Prescott finally showed some vulnerability.
As the Cowboys were deep in their own territory, Prescott scrambled through his own end zone and tried to make something happen. He attempted to find tight end Jason Witten, but he instead found Green Bay Packers safety Morgan Burnett.
While it was disappointing to see a fantastic streak come to an end, Prescott finally got the first interception out of his system. The longer that streak went on, the longer it could have potentially been a distraction. The good news is that he would come back firing and would end up throwing another touchdown pass just a little bit later.
If there was any question about the debate of who should be quarterback when Tony Romo returns, Prescott strengthened his argument on Sunday. He took the Cowboys up to Green Bay and made all the throws necessary for his team to roll offensively.
