Chicago Cubs second baseman Javier Báez hit a huge home run in the fourth inning to extend his team’s lead over the Cleveland Indians.

The Chicago Cubs have been hitting Cleveland Indians pitcher Corey Kluber from the very beginning of Game 7 of the World Series. After giving up a lead-off home run to begin the night, he ran into some trouble in the fourth inning and gave up a pair of runs. His night would finally come to an end in the fifth inning, as Javier Báez would launch another home run right out of progressive field.

Coming up with big hits and big plays with his glove all postseason, Báez made sure to get every bit of the baseball. He hit it almost to the same spot that Dexter Fowler had hit to lead off the game earlier in the night.

For the Indians, it was a cruel reminder of just how good the Cubs are on offense. Kluber tried his best, but he just couldn’t find the strike zone or any command with his pitches. Báez knew exactly what he was looking for and he was able to find it.

The Cubs came into the game looking to score as many runs as possible early. A couple of huge home runs out to center gave the team a big boost.
