The winner of the award in 2012, Johnny Manziel struck the famous pose at the 2016 Heisman Trophy Presentation.

Given all of his extracurricular activities while at Texas A&M and during his brief tenure with the Cleveland Browns, you might have forgotten that Johnny Manziel was the 2012 Heisman Trophy winner. And though he’s long been more sensation and sizzle than steak, he was electrifying in college.

However, we all know that things have played out less than favorably for Manziel in recent years. He’s no longer in the NFL, has been urged by his own father to go to rehab, and is nothing like the Johnny Football that once offered promise, hope, and fun to everyone watching him play quarterback.

Nonetheless, Manziel took time out of his always-busy (and wild) schedule to head to New York on Saturday night for the 2016 Heisman Trophy Presentation. Past winners are always brought back to help welcome the new winner to the “family.” And after that 2012 season, Manziel still qualifies as a past winner.

So on his way into the PlayStation Theater, Johnny Manziel did, what else, but strike the famed Heisman pose:

Carrying the water bottle like a football is a strong move by him. However, it’s impossible not to speak on the fact that he doesn’t look good at all. Between his eyes, his sickly color, and the fact that does not look like the body of a former Heisman winner, it’s not a good look.

Seeing him there, you’d never guess that he accrued over 5,100 total yards with 47 total touchdowns in his 2012. However, he was able to do that and more. Johnny Football, Money Manziel, and all of these monikers described one of the best and most fun football players on the planet. It’s been quite a fall from grace, but let’s still hope he gets somewhere close to that place somewhere down the line.
