Some perks of making a bowl are the gift bags and here are the 10 best swag packages of college football bowl season.

Making a bowl game is an honor for college football teams. Not only does playing in a bowl entail more practices for the young guys heading into next year as well as a chance to add a win and some momentum into the offseason, but it also provides players with some pretty cool swag packages.

What do I mean by this? Not many people truly know that making a bowl isn’t just a free trip for college athletes, but these kids also get the perks of earning free gear, electronics, gift cards and more.

Each bowl game gives players a package of goodies that ranges from gift cards to Best Buy, to Apple Watches and even video games. Some bowls have pretty average prizes, but others seem to spoil the college football participants.

Let’s take a look at the top gift packages from the 2016 college football bowl season.

10. PlayStation Fiesta Bowl (Clemson vs. Ohio State)

Ohio State and Clemson will be facing off in the Fiesta Bowl for a chance to play in the national title game, and not only is that one of two huge bowl games before the championship, but it also comes with some awesome gear for the players to take home.

The gift package includes a gift suite, which is basically a menu where players get to choose from a number of gift options not to exceed $550 which is the NCAA rule. The players get to choose between a gift suite or, since it is the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl, a PS4 game and accessory bundle.

I’m not sure if they actually get a PlayStation 4, but that might just be one of the rewards for making a bowl game sponsored by the video game company. College kids love their video games, so this is an instant upgrade to their living spaces.

Add in an Ogio Throttle backpack, Fossil watch and a football and these guys have it made. This isn’t quite the best gift package, but it’s pretty solid compared to others.
