The ongoing war of words between LeBron James and Charles Barkley has people talking, even one of LeBron’s best friends, Dwyane Wade.

As you know by now, four-time MVP and three-time NBA champion LeBron James ethered Hall of Famer and TNT analyst Charles Barkley for calling him “whiny”. It all stemmed from a heated discussion on TNT when Barkley, Shaq and Kenny “The Jet” Smith discussed LeBron’s comments to the media in regards to needing more help.

Once LeBron caught wind of Barkley’s harsh remarks, he didn’t hold anything back, to say the least. The King took shots at Barkley’s past, accusing him of throwing someone through a window, spitting on a kid, and etc.

When Barkley heard the rebuttal, he took the high road, but he did mention how he will not change his ways one bit. His job isn’t to be friends with the players, it’s to call it how he sees it.

However, LeBron’s buddy Dwyane Wade was pleased to see his former teammate finally stand up for himself.

"“Thank God he finally said something,” Wade said. “LeBron, a lot of guys take a lot of shots at him for whatever reason. He just has kept his mouth closed and continued to focus on what he needs to. But it’s about time he said something, man. Guys ride him, especially ex-players.”"

Wade continued.

"“When you have a history, when you can go and Google your history, you better be a little careful with what you say,” Wade continued. “Sometimes, when guys get a microphone in front of their face, they just talk and talk and talk and forget about their history. We all make that mistake, but especially that guy on TV. He acting like he just walks on water. And I like the fact that LeBron called him out and told him about himself a little bit. Humble yourself. LeBron is who he is. We all have flaws. But when your flaws a little bit more, you should shut up.“[James] said there’s a new sherrif in town. So I’m excited to see what’s next.”"

Wade, you’re not the only one excited to see what’s next.

Trust me.
