Super Bowl 51 expert predictions: Falcons or Patriots?
Super Bowl 51 predictions are coming in and the experts let you know if you should pick the Patriots or the Falcons on Sunday night.
If you’re still undecided about who is going to win Super Bowl 51 between Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons and Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, these expert predictions may help you decide.
Ryan won the NFL MVP on Saturday night and the last seven quarterbacks to win the regular season MVP and play in the Super Bowl were unsuccessful in their attempt to win a ring. That bodes well for Brady and the Patriots who are no stranger to the big game. The Patriots enter the game as a 3-point favorite as the game will take place at Houston’s NRG Stadium and we don’t know yet if the roof will be open or closed. If it’s closed, we could see a shootout with both offenses lighting up the scoreboard.

ESPN had a panel of 68 NFL experts make their prediction for the Super Bowl with 45 picking the Patriots and the other 23 picking the Falcons.

Bleacher Report had six of their 11 experts pick the Patriots and five are siding with the Falcons.
While it looks like the Patriots are receiving the bulk of the predictions for the Super Bowl, there are still plenty on the Falcons bandwagon.
