Probably one of the most anticipated albums of the year finally has a name and a tracklist.

It’s here. Kendrick Lamar has teased us enough and he finally decided to drop not only the name for his album but also released the tracklist. Compton’s own is ready for his 2017 debut.

DAMN drops April 14 and has to be one of the most hyped albums of the year. If the rest of the album is anything like “Humble,” which has already risen to the top five in Billboard’s top 100 songs, every music fan is in for a treat.

Lamar posted this on his Instagram:

There are 14 tracks that will be on Lamar’s album:

  1. “Blood”
  2. “DNA”
  3. “Yah”
  4. “Element”
  5. “Feel”
  6. “Loyalty” (feat. Rihanna)
  7. “Pride”
  8. “Humble” (has already been released and has driven fans crazy)
  9. “Lust”
  10. “Love”
  11. “XXX” (U2 is featured on this song)
  12. “Fear”
  13. “God”
  14. “Duckworth”

Now we all know that Lamar’s “The Heart Part 4” will not be on the upcoming album. “The Heart” was released days before he released “HUMBLE.” “The Heart” is full of tasteful lyrics and Lamar’s flow is unmatched. The beat starts off slow and groovy and then picks it up to match Lamar’s intensity. His lyrics infused with the beat add up to a very pleasant experience.

In addition to the tracklist, Lamar also released the cover for the album on his Instagram:

That’s dope.

Lamar has some competition on April 14 as Rich Homie Quan will be releasing his album on the same day. Quan’s album, Back to the Basics, might get lost in the frenzy of Lamar’s album.
