It’s time to join your league(s) and get ready for the draft, so here are some names to choose from for your fantasy football team this year.

The calendar has flipped to August, and an NFL preseason game is in the books. That means it’s fantasy football season too, with traditional magazines all over the racks and a wide array of websites to help you prepare for your draft or auction.

Not matter what site you have as league host, another critical component in fantasy football is choosing your team name. Sure, you can go with some sort of twist on your own name or initials, or give a nod to your favorite “real”  team or player, but sometimes a little more creativity is nice to see.

On that note, with a nod to the internet sprinkled with some of my own creations, here are some names to consider for your fantasy football team this year.

  • A Man Named Brady
  • Dak And Forth
  • Like A Brees
  • Going Into Beast Mode
  • The Boldin And The Beautiful
  • Climbing That Tannehill
  • Dalvin Into The Deep End
  • Make AmariCarr Great Again
  • Wentz Upon A Time
  • Zeke And Destroy
  • Almost Jameis
  • Super Mariota
  • Cousins Got Money
  • Hooked On A Thielen
  • Cam On The Run
  • Little Red Fournette
  • I Have A Need For Snead
  • Le’Veon And Let Die
  • Ice In Matty’s Veins
  • Golden Tate Warriors

I’ve chosen to keep things safe for work with this list, but a stretch outside of that is definitely possible and opens up a lot more possibilities. Going adult-oriented surely depends on the makeup of your league and what’s in good taste, so be wise but still have fun.

Best of luck choosing a fantasy football team name this year, and best of luck in your league or leagues. Unless you’re in one of my leagues, of course.
