Paulie Malignaggi continues to be critical of Conor McGregor and promises to reveal more in the near future.

Paulie Malignaggi is not done calling out Conor McGregor. In a series of tweets on Saturday night, Malignaggi continued to criticize McGregor’s ethics.

While, Malignaggi has largely remained silent on McGregor’s boxing acumen, he did offer a harsh criticism of McGregor’s ability to absorb body shots.

Malignaggi also implied that he was not bound by a non-disclosure agreement.

While Malignaggi also implied that he maintains an ethical standard when discussing strategy, he does not seem above exposing McGregor as a novice boxer.

Previously, Malignaggi was diplomatic when speaking about his sparring sessions with McGregor. However, Malignaggi has clarified his McGregor praise.

The rift between Malignaggi and McGregor heated up after McGregor posted photos on social media media depicting a grounded Malignaggi.

Malignaggi took exception to these photos, claiming they were a misrepresentation of the sparring session. Malignaggi has since quit the McGregor camp. Surely, McGregor’s limited boxing ability is unsurprising. However, his inability to absorb contact, pokes holed in the larger McGregor narrative.

As opposed to Floyd Mayweather, McGregor is theoretically accustomed to taking damage in fights. McGregor’s two fight series with Nate Diaz is a prime example of McGregor’s abilities and shortcomings.

At UFC 196, McGregor was unable to deal with the Diaz’s flury of punches, before being submitted. In the rematch at UFC 202, McGregor was able to survive five rounds of Diaz’s aggression.

While Diaz has great boxing skills for an MMA fighter, he is not a championship-level boxer. Obviously, Floyd Mayweather does not have a 49-0 resume based on his punching power, but he is a seasoned boxer.
