It’s here folks! Finally after months of speculation and predictions the 2012 NBA Draft has arrived and we get to see either how right or wrong we all were this whole time.

12:05am: That concludes the 2012 NBA Draft. But the coverage doesn’t end here. 12:01am: Adam Silver’s “Goodnight New Jersey” is bitter sweet. It’s truly goodnight for basketball in New Jersey.

12:00am: With the final pick in the 2012 NBA Draft the Los Angeles Lakers select Robert Sacre from Gonzaga. This is the last time basketball will be involved in the Prudential Center as this concludes the draft.

11:56pm: So far the second round saw a serious run on international players and with one pick left a lot of talent will go undrafted and will have to fight for a spot on an NBA Roster. Lots of free agent action is expected.

11:54pm: With the 59th overall pick and second to last selection in the 2012 NBA Draft, the San Antonio Spurs have selected Marcus Denmon. The Lakers are on the clock with the final pick tonight.

11:52pm: The Minnesota Timberwolves select Robbie Hummel with the 58th overall pick. We have two picks left in the 2012 NBA Draft. San Antonio selects 59th and the Los Angeles Lakers finish things off at 60th overall.

11:50pm: TRADE: The Mavericks have sold the rights to Darius Johnson-Odom to the Los Angeles Lakers for cash.

11:47pm: For the first time as the Brooklyn Nets, the Nets have turned in their pick and select Illken Karaman from Turkey which continues the run on international players in the second round.

11:45pm: Tomislav Zubcic is the Raptors selection at 56th overall. Brooklyn is on the clock for the first time officially as Brooklyn.

11:43pm: The Sixers get cash in return for the rights to Shengelia. The Nets have the 57th overall pick tonight. We have five more remaining.

11:41pm: The Dallas Mavericks have selected Darius Johnson-Odom from Marquette with the 55th overall pick. He joins teammate jae Crowder in Dallas who was drafted and then traded to Dallas tonight.

11:39: TRADE: The Sixers have traded the rights to Tornike Shengelia to the Brooklyn Nets.

11:37pm: The Sixers have taken Tornike Shengelia from Georiga. That’s the country not the college. Dallas is on the clock now

11:34pm: Going back to the Denver-Cleveland trade, this is how it breaks down. Cleveland Gets the rights to Tyler Zeller in exchange for the rights to Jared Cunningham, Bernard James and Jae Crowder.

11:32pm: With the 53rd overall pick the Los Angeles Clippers select Furkan Aledmir as their first selection of this draft. The Sixers are back on the clock.

11:30pm: The proposed trade from earlier where Dallas sends the rights to Tyler Zeller to the Cavaliers has now been approved and is official.

11:27pm: The Warriors have selected again and they make Ognjen Kuzmic the 52nd overall pick of the draft.

11:24: Denver has selected Izzet Turkyalamz witt the 50th pick and the Celtics have selected Kris Joseph 51st overall.

11:22pm: The Orlando Magic have turned in their pick and it’s former Norfolk St. star Kyle O’Quinn. Up next is the Nuggets.

11:20pm: With their first pick of this draft, the Knicks select Kostas Papanikolaou from Greece.

11:16pm: The Utah Jazz have made their first selection of  the draft and it’s Kevin Murphy. The Knicks are on the clock with their fist pick of the draft.

11:14pm: With the 46th pick the New Orleans Hornets select Darius Miller who is the sixth Kentucky player to be drafted.

11:12pm: The Sixers select Justin Hamilton with the 45th overall pick. In the proposed deal from the first round this pick would go to the Miami Heat.

11:11pm: Just for historical and periodical record for those reading this in the future, ESPN is about 10 goo minutes behind breaking news in the draft. The Orlando Johnson to Indiana trade was just announced.

11:10pm: The Detroit Pistons have selected Kim English 44th overall from Missouri. This puts the 76ers on the clock as the picks are flying in.

11:07pm: With the 43rd overall pick the Atlanta Hawks have selected Mike Scott from Virginia. The Pistons are back on the clock with the 44th pick.

11:04pm: The Milwaukee Bucks pick is in. They select Doron Lamb 42nd overall and makes him the fifth Kentucky player to be drafted.

11:01pm: With their second straight pick the Blazers select Tyshawn Taylor. The Blazer are trading this pick to the Brooklyn Nets so Taylor is the first draft pick of the newly relocated Brooklyn Nets.

11:00pm: The Traliblazer select Will Barton with the 40th pick. They are now on the clock with another pick at 41st overall.

10:59pm: The Detroit Pistons grab Khris Middleton with the 39th pick. The Trailblazers are now on the clock.

10:58pm: TRADE: The Kings have traded the right to Orlando Johnson to the Indiana Pacers.

10:55pm: Denver turns in their card and it’s Quicny Miller from Baylor. Two straight picks where guys named Quincy are selected from the same exact school. Detroit is on the clock and will not be taking a Quincy.

10:53pm: The Raptors pick is in. They select Baylor forward Quincy Acy with the 37th overall pick. Denver is now on the clock.

10:51pm: The Warriors select Orlando Johnson from UC-Santa Barbra with the 36th selection. Notable to mention that two first round precepts at the same position in Will Barton and Doron Lamb were passed on in favor of Johnson.

10:47pm: The Golden State Warriors select Draymond Green from Michigan State with the 35th overall pick. The Sacramento Kings are on the clock with a lot of first round talent left.

10:43pm: The Cleveland Cavaliers select Jae Crowder with the 34th selection. Both he and James will go to Dallas when the proposed trade with Cleveland goes through.

10:41pm: James did tours in Iraq and Afghanistan during his six year commitment to the U.S. Air Force. He gets a standing ovation from the crowd who begin chanting, “U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A!”

10:40pm: With the first of two picks, the Cavaliers select Florida St. Center Bernard James. He’s a U.S. Veteran.

10:36pm: The Washington Wizards have selected Tomas Satoransky from the Czech Republic. He’s the second international player to selected tonight. The Cavaliers are on the clock with back-to-back picks but will be selecting for the Mavericks.

10:33pm: The Bobcats kickoff the second round by drafting Jeff Taylor 31st overall. The Wizards are on the clock.

10:27pm: Festus Ezeli is the final pick of the first round and goes to the Golden State Warriors.

10:21pm: The Chicago Bulls have selected Kentucky guard Marquis Teague from Kentucky. The Golden State Warriors are on the clock to round out the first round.

10:14pm: The Thunder have selected Perry Jones III. The Chicago Bulls are on the clock.

10:10pm: TRADE: Reports are saying the Heat have traded Arnett Moultrie to the 76ers. Heat get the Sixers future 1st round pick and the 45th pick in tonight’s draft for Moultire.

10:08pm: The Miami Heat select Arnett Moultrie from Mississippi St. The Thunder are on the clock.

10:06pm: With just four picks left in the first round there is still a lot of high first round talent left on the board. The Heat are on the clock and are going to add even more talent to their roster.

10:04pm: The pick is in for Indiana. They select Duke forward Miles Plumlee. The Heat are now on the clock.

9:58pm: The Memphis Grizzlies select Tony Wroten Jr with the 25th overall selection. The Indiana Pacers are now on the clock.

9:53pm: The Cleveland Cavaliers select Jared Cunningham from Oregon State. They are selecting for the Dallas Mavericks. The Memphis Grizzlies are on the clock.

9:51pm: The Dallas-Cleveland trade is still only proposed because all trades need to be approved by the league first. Despite the guy who runs the show announcing the picks, the trade isn’t official yet.

9:48pm: The Atlanta Hawks have selected John Jenkins 23rd overall. The Dallas Mavericks are on the clock. Their pick is from the Tyler Zeller trade.

9:44pm: Fab Melo and Jared Sullinger very well could ring and yang each other in Boston. There is also the possibility of Boston switch Sullinger to PF to play behind Kevin Garnett.

9:42pm: The Boston Celtics select Fab Melo from Syracuse with the 22nd overall pick. The Atlanta Hawks are on the clock now.

9:35pm: Sources are reporting Fab Melo from Syracuse is the next pick. That would be back-to-back centers for the Celtics.

9:31pm: With the 21st overall pick the Boston Celtics select Jared Sullinger from Ohio St. THey are back on the clock with their next selection.

9:27pm: The Denver Nuggets select Evan Fournier from France. The Celtics are on the clock with back-to-back picks.

9:22pm: The Orlando Magic select Andrew Nicholson 19th overall. The Denver Nuggets are on the clock.

9:17pm: The Houston Rockets select Terrence Jones from Kentucky. The Orlando Magic are on the clock.

9:13pm: According to Yahoo! Sports we have our first trade. Zeller is going to Cleveland for draft picks. Dallas gets the 24th, 33rd and 34th pick from Cleveland.

9:12pm: Sources are saying that Zeller is going to be traded to another team by Dallas. Reports coming from Yahoo! Sports writer Adrian Wojnarowski.

9:11pm: The Dallas Mavericks select Tyler Zeller with the 17th overall selection. The Rockets are on the clock again.

9:10pm: We may have our fist trade of the draft.

9:06pm: The Houston Rockets select Royce White from Iowa State 16th overall, the third of their four first round picks. The Dallas Mavericks are on he clock.

9:00pm: Maruice Harkless sent out a memo today that he no longer wants to be called Mo Harkless.

8:58pm: The Philadelphia 76ers select Maurice Harkless from St. John’s with the 15th overall pick. Houston is yet again back on the clock.

8:53: The Rockets select John Henson 14th overall. The Sixers are now on the clock.

8:43pm: The Phoenix Suns select Kendall Marshall from North Carolina 13th overall. Milwaukee is on the clock.

8:42pm: The Rockets have 4 of the next 7 picks including the pick the just used.

8:41pm: The Houston Rockets select Jeremy Lamb from UConn. The Suns are on the clock.

8:34pm: With their second of two first round picks, the Portland Trailblazers select Meyers Leonard from Illinois. The Houston Rockets are on the clock.

8:29pm: With their second first round pick,  New Orleans Hornets select Austin Rivers from Duke 10th overall. Portland is back on the clock.

8:24pm: Austin Rivers is still on the board and he very well could go next. The Pistons have had their last two first round picks fall to them the last two years. Drummond joins Greg Monroe int he Pistons front court.

8:21pm: The Detroit Pistons select Andre Drummond 9th overall. The New Orleans Hornets are back on the clock.

8:20pm: Andre Drummond is still on the board and Detroit wasn’t expecting him to be. He very well could be the next pick but watch the Celtics try to move up to 10th. Doc wants to coach his son and have two back-to-back first rounders to trade.

8:18: The Toronto Raptors select Terrence Ross from Washington 8th overall. The Detroit Pistons are on the clock.

8:17: Sources saying Toronto Raptors will take Terrence Ross next. NBA has a serious leak.

8:15pm: The Toronto Raptors wanted Harrison Barnes and Dion Waiters at 8th overall. Neither are there and some are saying Toronto may trade the pick. Boston and Chicago are candidates here.

8:11pm: The Golden State Warriors select Harrison Barnes 7th overall. The Raptors are now on the clock.

8:08pm: Yet another pick has been announced before hand. If the next pick is Harrison Barnes that makes another pick that was reported before it was said.

8:06pm: The Portland Trailblazers select Damien Lillard 6th overall. The Warriors are now on the clock.

8:03pm: Multiple sources reporting that Damien Lillard is going to be drafted next. That would make the four of the first six picks we’re reported before David Stern strolled to the podium.

8:00pm: Robinson was rumored to go 2nd overall before the draft started. He slides to 5th to the Kings who will get a hard working power forward for the future.

7:59pm: The Sacramento Kings select Thomas Robinson with the fifth overall pick. Portland is on the clock.

7:55pm: Waiters was projected to go somewhere in the late first round at the beginning of June. He skipped the combine in Chicago and now he’s the fourth overall pick. Smart move by Gilbert?

7:53pm: The Cleveland Cavaliers select  Dion Waiters with the 4th overall. The Kings are on the clock.

7:50pm: The Wizards now have a core of Wall, Beal, Ariza, Nene and Emeka. Things are turning around in Washington.

7:47pm: The Washington Wizards select Bradley Beal with the third overall pick. Cleveland is on the clock.

7:45pm: Yahoo! Sports is reporting that sources informed them Bradley Beal will be selected third overall.

7:44pm: The Bobcats really shocked people who thought they’d deal. This means Bradley Beal won’t fall to the Cav’s at 3rd overall. Washington wants him.

7:43pm: The Charlotte Bobcats select Michael Kidd-Gilchrist 2nd overall. The Washington Wizards are on the clock.

7:40pm: The drama in the draft really begins now. As it usually is with the NBA Draft, the draft starts with the No. 2 pick which is still with the Bobcats. No trades yet.

7:37pm: The New Orleans Hornets have selected Anthony Davis first overall. The Charlotte Bobcats are on the clock…for now.

7:13pm: ESPN just spent an entire video segment and pulled Anthony Davis aside to talk about his unibrow. So you’re in the right place for real coverage here.

7:07pm: The Bobcats have three proposed deals with Cleveland accord to “high level sources”.

7:00pm: The New Orleans Hornets have said they are not trading the 1st to 10th pick in the draft.

6:42pm: So far no major moves in terms of trades but talks have become white hot in the last hour with Charlotte trying to trade back and Cleveland trying to trade up.

6:31pm: According to Yahoo! and Sports Illustrated, the Celtics are also working their way into a trade frenzy as they want to move up and select Doc River’s son Austin in the lottery.

6:27pm: We’re about 30 minutes away from the draft unofficially starting and the talks about Charlotte trading the second pick are dominating headlines so far.
