As you set your lineups for week 5 which kicks off tonight, it’s vital to know who’s playing and who could be sidelined with an injury as we head into the weekend. For all your lineup decision check our positional rankings which you can find on Fantasy CPR each Wednesday.
Here’s the latest on fantasy relevant injuries including information from Wednesday’s practice reports:
Marshawn Lynch-Seattle Seahawks-RB: Lynch turned in a limited practice as he rested up for Sunday’s game against St. Louis. He’s a great start and there’s no injury here to be concerned with.
Matt Forte- Chicago Bears-RB: Despite coming back too early according to many, Forte avoided injury and should be ready for a full workload this Sunday against the Jags.

Steven Jackson-St. Louis Rams-RB: Jackson is questionable and a game-time decision but expected to play Thursday Night against Arizona. Come back tonight to double-check, but he should be ready to go as a RB2 this week.
Reggie Bush-Miami Dolphins-RB: Bush was limited by a hip injury which is new but said his knee was much better. He’s fully expected to play and get all his usual work against a suspect Bengals defense. He’s a good start for Sunday.
Julio Jones-Atlanta Falcons-WR: Jones was a full participant and should be full-strength on Sunday.
Hakeem Nicks-New York Giants-WR: Nicks didn’t practice Wednesday as usual, but Coach Tom Coughlin said he may miss Thursday as well. Be ready to go another direction if Nicks misses Thursday’s practice.
Greg Jennings-Green Bay Packers-WR: Jennings missed practice again Wednesday and isn’t expected to practice or play this week any more.
C.J. Spiller-Buffalo Bills-RB: Spiller practiced and is ready to play on Sunday but faces a tough San Francisco defense and a time-share with the next guy on this list.
Fred Jackson-Buffalo Bills-RB: Jackson also practiced Wednesday and is expected to be ready to go against the Niners.
Lance Moore-New Orleans Saints-WR: Moore was held out of practice Wednesday with a previously unknown hamstring injury. Expect him to be just fine for Sunday.
Pierre Garcon-Washington Redskins-WR: Garcon participated fully in Wednesday’s practice and is ready to roll for the ‘Skins game with the Falcons.
Rashard Mendenhall-Pittsburgh Steelers-RB: Mendenhall is expected to debut on Sunday against Philadelphia. Don’t expect a full workload right away, but he is expected to be on the field.
Kenny Britt-Tennessee Titans-WR: Britt is still not participating in practice and owners need to be ready for him to miss another game this week. Mike Munchak was “hopeful” earlier this week that Britt would play, and he still may, but be sure you have another option ready to roll if needed.
Sept 30, 2012; East Rutherford, NJ, USA; San Francisco 49ers cornerback Carlos Rogers (22) returns a New York Jets wide receiver Santonio Holmes (10) fumble for a touchdown during the second half at MetLife Stadium. The 49ers defeated the Jets 34-0. Mandatory Credit: Ed Mulholland-US PRESSWIRE
Santonio Holmes-New York Jets-WR: Holmes is on IR and won’t play again this year.
Darrius Heyward-Bey-Oakland Raiders-WR: Remarkably after that scary injury, DHB has put together back-to-back full practices and is expected to start week 6 for Oakland after their bye.
Christian Ponder-Minnesota Vikings-QB: Ponder has a nice matchup against the Titans on the slate this Sunday and has shown he has fantasy value as a QB2. He was limited with a minor knee issue Wednesday in practice but should be good to go for Sunday.
Jake Locker-Tennessee Titans-QB: Locker is officially out for Sunday.
Stephen Hill-New York Jets-WR: Hill didn’t practice Wednesday and looks unlikely to be ready for Monday Night Football leaving New York with Chaz Schilens and Jeremy Kerley as starters against Houston.
Ramses Barden-New York Giants-WR: Barden has a concussion and probably won’t play Sunday against Cleveland. His injury coupled with Hakeem Nicks’ uncertainty make Domenik Hixon a good one-week add if you need a receiver.
Scott Chandler-Buffalo Bills-TE: Chandler apparently avoided a concussion despite a head injury on Sunday and was a full participant in Wednesday’s practice.
Coby Fleener-Indianapolis Colts-TE: Fleener was limited Wednesday with a head injury. He still appears ready to roll for Sunday.
Peyton Hillis-Kansas City Chiefs-RB: Hillis isn’t expected to play this week after missing practice yesterday.
Kevin Boss-Kansas City Chiefs-TE: Boss is out for the season after sustaining another concussion.
