As you finalize your lineup for fantasy football week 9, make sure to check our positional rankings to help you know who to start and who to sit. Here’s the latest on fantasy relevant injuries as we get ready for kickoff on Sunday.
Plan without…
DeMarco Murray-Dallas Cowboys-RB: Murray is out again with is foot injury and may return next week… At this point, who knows?
Darren Sproles-New Orleans Saints-RB: Sproles has a fractured hand and is out for multiple weeks. A story in the Biloxi Sun Herald yesterday indicated that it could be up to eight weeks. He will miss the rest of the Fantasy Football regular season and may be back too late to help you for fantasy.
Maybe Jonathan Dwyer (27) and Rashard Mendenhall are afraid the Steelers are wearing these unis again. Photo by Charles LeClaire-US PRESSWIRE
Jonathan Dwyer-Pittsburgh Steelers-RB: Dwyer had emerged as a weapon in the Steelers offense but will sit out this weeks game leaving Isaac Redman as the starter. Dwyer is officially doubtful with his quad injury. Dwyer’s availability and value going forward depends on his role when he and/or Mendenhall get back onto the field.
Rashard Mendenhall-Pittsburgh Steelers-RB: Mendenhall is doubtful, but he probably will return for week 10.
Brandon LaFell-Carolina Panthers-WR: LaFell is doubtful with a concussion.
John Kuhn-Green Bay Packers-RB: Kuhn is officially out for Sunday making Alex Green a slightly better option against Arizona.
Plan on checking back Sunday on…
Calvin Johnson-Detroit Lions-WR: Johnson has missed practice all week, but could still play Sunday against Jacksonville. His knee is a concern, but he’s still a great start against the Jags.
Jordy Nelson-Green Bay Packers-WR: Nelson is questionable with his hamstring injury once again this week. Last week, he didn’t suit up in the same situation and with a Green Bay bye on the schedule next week he may take it easy against the struggling Cardinals.
Dez Bryant-Dallas Cowboys-WR: Bryant is listed as questionable headed into Sunday night’s showdown in Atlanta. He’ll probably play but do your best to have an option in case he doesn’t. Philadelphia and New Orleans play on Monday Night and their receivers would be a nice insurance policy in case he’s a surprise inactive.
Ryan Tannehill-Miami Dolphins-QB: Tannehill is probably going to play but is a gametime decision against the Colts. He’s a high-risk play even if he goes since if his knee acts up Matt Moore will be ready and waiting on the sidelines. Avoid the situation if at all possible.
Plan on playing…
Adrian Peterson-Minnesota Vikings-RB: Peterson missed Friday’s practice but is fully expected to start and play with his usual workload against the Seahawks tough run defense.
Roddy White-Atlanta Falcons-WR: White is probable and should play.

Trent Richardson-Cleveland Browns-RB: T-rich will be all systems go for Sunday.
Owen Daniels-Houston Texans-TE: Daniels and the Texans play Buffalo making him a TE1 if he goes. He’s listed as probable with a hamstring injury.
Ahmad Bradshaw-New York Giants-RB: Bradshaw is questionable which tends
Felix Jones-Dallas Cowboys-RB: He hasn’t practiced fully all week, but he’s probable for Sunday. Temper your expectations but start him if you must.
Titus Young-Detroit Lions-WR: Young was limited in practice yesterday but is probable for Sunday. He has a great matchup for Sunday.
Brian Hartline-Miami Dolphins-WR: Hartline is questionable but is expected to play barring any setbacks.
Donald Brown-Indianapolis Colts-RB: Brown had a full practice yesterday so should be good to go tomorrow. He’s in a time share with Vick Ballard but is healthy and ready to go against Miami.
Kenny Britt-Tennessee Titans-WR: No practice for Britt this week, but he’s expected to play Sunday. I’d go a different direction if possible, but Britt will most likely be on the field.
Nate Washington-Tennessee Titans-WR: He didn’t practice this week either, but is probable for Sunday’s game.
