Fantasy Football Injury Report-Saturday Update for NFL Week 12
Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy (25) was down after being tackled during the game against the Washington Redskins last week but will he be out this week? That’s just one of many fantasy football injury questions that need to be answered heading into this weekend. Photo by Evan Habeeb-US PRESSWIRE
Even with bye weeks behind us, there’s still some tricky lineup decisions thanks to injuries that are starting to pile up across the league. Monday Night Football poses some extra concerns thanks to LeSean McCoy’s unclear injury status. Pay close attention to the updates, follow us on twitter @FantasyCPR for late-breaking news, and make sure you don’t take a zero in a critical matchup this weekend.
Here’s the latest on what to expect heading into Sunday’s kickoffs:
Expect the Unexpected (Gametime decisions)
LeSean McCoy-Philadelphia Eagles-RB: McCoy has a long way to go before being cleared to play so is a long-shot at best for Monday Night. Hopefully McCoy owners were able to get Bryce Brown as an option to insert. He could still play, but have a contingency plan in place in case Shady is a no-go which is even trickier with a Monday Night play. [Update: McCoy is out for Monday Night.]

Antonio Brown-Pittsburgh Steelers-WR: Brown is listed as questionable and is working his way back from a sprained ankle. It would be best to see him on the field before putting him back in your fantasy lineups but he’s definitely on the comeback trail.
La’Rod Stephens-Howling-Arizona Cardinals-RB: Stephens-Howling is listed as questionable and doesn’t have much fantasy football value with Beanie Wells healthy and ready to return.
Coby Fleener-Indianapolis Colts-TE: Fleener has been limited all week and probably won’t play. Even if he does, at this point in the season Dwayne Allen is the Colts TE worth owning not Fleener.
Expected to Sit
Percy Harvin-Minnesota Vikings-WR: Harvin is doubtful after not practicing all week. Plan a different direction for this Sunday and hope he makes it back for the fantasy playoffs.

Michael Vick-Philadelphia Eagles-QB: Vick is still working his way back from his concussion and Nick Foles will again get the start. [Update: Vick is out for Monday Night.]
Greg Jennings-Green Bay Packers-WR: Jennings is still not ready to return but is making progress and should be owned in all formats since his return should be soon.
Danny Amendola-St. Louis Rams-WR: Amendola hasn’t practiced ans is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s 4:25 start against the Cardinals.
Mike Goodson-Oakland Raiders-RB: Goodson and Darren McFadden are both out meaning it’s Marcel Reese who will again spearhead the Raiders rushing attack.
Jason Avant-Philadelphia Eagles-WR: Avant didn’t pratice Friday and doesn’t play until Monday. It’s high-risk, low-reward so go a different way for this week.
Eddie Royal-San Diego Chargers-WR: Royal is out and not worth owning in most formats.
Expected to Play

Brandon Marshall-Chicago Bears-WR: Marshall was a full-participant on Friday despite a should injury and should be good to go for Sunday. Jay Cutler is expected to play as well (see below) making him one of the top WR in the league this week.
Julio Jones-Atlanta Falcons-WR: Jones continues to battle an ankle issue but was able to practice on a limited basis the last two days which is an improvement from last week. He’ll play but his effectiveness may be limited.
Darren Sproles-New Orleans Saints-RB: Sproles has been practicing fully all week and is ready to return as the Saints face the 49ers.
Ahmad Bradshaw-New York Giants-RB: Bradshaw was limited Friday but is listed as probable for Sunday.
Fred Jackson-Buffalo Bills-RB: Jackson is probable after missing last week’s game with a concussion.
Jay Cutler-Chicago Bears-QB: Cutler looks good to play but we won’t know for sure until later today. He’s listed as questionable but Coach Lovie Smith expects him to play. [Update: Cutler has been cleared to play.]
Beanie Wells-Arizona Cardinals-RB: Wells is back from IR but could have just a limited role on Sunday against St. Louis.
Darrius Heyward-Bey-Oakland Raiders-WR: DHB practiced fully on Friday and is a go as the Raiders visit the Bengals. He hasn’t been playing extremely well though, so limit your expectations.
Dennis Pitta-Baltimore Ravens-TE: Pitta has been cleared to play after a concussion last week.
