College Football Challenge wraps up this week with championship games, rematches, and plenty of BCS drama in the top ten games on the slate according to ESPN’s College Pick’Em. It’s been a great season, and it’s almost time to go bowling, but there’s still plenty to e decided this last weekend of the regular season.

Last week in our FantasyCPR group, QuirkMichael got the highest total of the week with 49 while Josh Black M2 maintained his overall lead staying in the top 2% of worldwide entries with 45 points.

Here’s my picks for this week in order of confidence from least confident to most confident:

1 point- UCONN over Cincinnati: The Huskies have pulled out a couple nice wins over Louisville and Pitt the last two weeks. Connecticut needs a win to get into a bowl-game and has the league’s best defenst which should give Brendon Kay a hard time as he tries to lead the Bearcats to a share of the division title. This is an upset pick, but I think UConn’s got a serious shot against a flawed Cincinnati team especially since they’re at home.

2 points-Tulsa over UCF: The Golden Hurricane host the Knights for the Conference USA Football Championship at noon on Saturday on ESPN2. Tulsa won two weeks ago when these teams met after both finished the season with 9-3 records and 7-1 in-conference marks. Tulsa out-gained the Knights by over 200 yards in their last meeting but had a pair of turnovers which negated that advantage and made the final margin of victory just two points.

3 points- Kansas State over Texas: The Wildcats have taked six of the eight meetings since K-State joined the Big 12. I’d be more confident in this one if it wasn’t such a letdown for K-State to be playing just for a BCS game after getting crushed by Baylor and knocked out of the National Championship picture. Texas has QB issues and will turn to Case McCoy in place of injured starter David Ash. This is the 8:00 ABC game.

4 points- Pitt over USF: The Panthers started the year losing to Youngtown state but become bowl eligible with a win on the road. They knocked off Rutgers last week after losing a pair of one-score games to UConn and Notre Dame. USF is just 1-5 in-conference and has lost eight of their last nine.

Nov 24, 2012; Norman OK, USA; Oklahoma State Cowboys wide receiver Josh Stewart (5) celebrates with teammates including wide receiver Austin Hays (84) after a touchdown during the third quarter against the Oklahoma Sooners at Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Richard Rowe-US PRESSWIRE

5 points-Oklahoma State over Baylor: In a nice Big-12 finale for both teams, OSU will try and bounce back from a tough loss in Bedlam as Oklahoma knocked them off in overtime. Baylor has a pair of nice wins their last two games against Texas Tech and K-State, but I don’t trust their defense to stop the Cowboys.

7 points-Alabama over Georgia: The Bulldogs struggle in big games; Nick Saban teams don’t. He’s 3-0 against Bulldogs coach Mark Richt and has his team in position to get to the BCS title game again despite a loss to Texas A&M. I re-watched the Georgia-South Carolina game and think the Crimson Tide defense will just be too much for Georgia. I’m not thrilled about ‘Bama in the Championship game again just since I’d rather a new storyline to follow, but I think they’ll get the win here much like LSU did last season over Georgia.

Sep 29, 2012; Lincoln, NE, USA; Nebraska Cornhuskers quarterback Taylor Martinez (3) runs over Wisconsin Badgers defender Michael Trotter (43) at Memorial Stadium in the first half. Mandatory Credit: Bruce Thorson-US PRESSWIRE

8 points- Nebraska over Wisconsin: The Cornhuskers can punch their Rose Bowl ticket with another win over the Badgers. Wisconsin lost three of their last four and is only here because Ohio State and Penn State are ineligible. Nebraska rallied for the win in their previous meeting in Lincoln. The two teams will meet one neutral ground at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianpolis this time in a game with two of the most well-known running backs in the college ranks-Rex Burkhead of the Huskers and Montee Ball of the Badgers.

9 points-Oklahoma over TCU: The Sooners can stay alive for the Big 12 title with a win in Fort Worth but K-State will most likely wrap that up either way as they face Texas. OU has won four in a row after escaping last week over Oklahoma State and their last seven in-conference matchups. Their only losses on the season were to K-State and Notre Dame both at home. TCU is 4-4 in conference with home losses already to K-State, Texas TEch, and Iowa State.

10 points-Florida State over Georgia Tech: Both schools lost last week to in-state rivals. FSU had Florida down but couldn’t finish the job while the Yellow Jackets were crushed by Georgia. The Seminoles should be in good shape against the 6-6 Tech squad that’s only here because Miami is under a self-imposed postseason ban. State is favored by 14 in this one as they look to lock up a spot in the Orange Bowl.
