Ed Reed is fresh off of a Super Bowl victory, but that won’t stop the media from wondering what is next for the Baltimore Ravens safety. There was belief that Reed could call it a career if he was able to capture a Super Bowl title, but the safety does not appear ready to hang up his cleats.

Reed is set to become a free agent this offseason and he will be hiring representation to test the open market. While many are debating where Reed could end up, there is a strong belief in NFL circles that he could be reuniting with a former coach.

According to Jason La Canfora, “a lot of people believe” that Reed will sign with the Indianapolis Colts.

The Colts would benefit from safety help and the move would reunite Reed with his former defensive coordinator Chuck Pagano, who is the head coach in Indianapolis. Pagano was Baltimore’s defensive coordinator from 2008-11.

It would be a perfect fit for both sides and it is definitely a move to watch.

If Reed decides to continue playing in 2013, a reunion with his former coordinator could be just what the doctor ordered.
