If the Tennessee Titans wanted to retain tight end Jared Cook for the 2013 NFL season, they would have been wise to use the franchise tag on him. As it stands now, it will be increasingly difficult for the Titans to lure Cook back into town with the amount of interest he is receiving on the free agent market.

Cook has drawn interest from the Miami Dolphins, Chicago Bears and now the Cleveland Browns.

The Cleveland Plain-Dealer reports that the Browns have interest in the top tight end on the market.

Cook is an incredibly talented tight end, but he was under utilized in Tennessee. In Cleveland, he would be a brilliant fit for head coach Rob Chudzinski and could finally live up to the potential that he has flashed in the past few years.

Despite being squeezed out of the game plan at the end of last season, Cook was able to catch 44 passes for 523 yards and four TDs. Cleveland certainly has the money to spend in free agency, so they could open the checkbook for Cook and give him the dollar figure that he is seeking.
