With Andy Levitre, the top offensive guard on the free agent market, signing a deal in Tennessee, the Denver Broncos decided to act fast and lock up a guard of their own. The team has reached a four-yea, $23.5 million deal with the Broncos.

Vasquez was drafted in the third-round of the 2009 NFL Draft and has started all 54 of the games that he has appeared in. He will provide the Broncos with reliable depth along the interior offensive line.

It’s a very solid signing for the Broncos.

Denver is also working hard to sign free agents in the defensive and offensive backfield. Running back Rashard Mendenhall and cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie have been mentioned as two possibilities.
