The San Diego Chargers have reached an agreement with former Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle King Dunlap. San Diego needs help along the offensive line and they have been linked to a number of tackle prospects in the 2013 NFL Draft. Now, that need may take a back seat.

Dunlap could immediately step in and be the new blind side protector for Philip Rivers, who desperately needs some help staying on his feet. If Dunlap can provide the team with some improved tackle play, Rivers will be a very happy camper.

It is nice to see San Diego take a cheaper approach to fill the need at tackle instead of overpaying for a player like Jake Long on the open market.
