St. Louis Rams Sign William Hayes
By Josh Sanchez
The St. Louis Rams have joined the free agency frenzy and have announced the addition of former Tennessee Titans defensive end William Hayes.
Hayes was drafted by the Titans in the fourth-round out of Winston-Salem in the 2008 draft. Hayes has 15 sacks in his career to go along with 147 tackles and four forced fumbles. He adds some depth to the Rams roster and will bolster the team’s defensive line rotation.
The connection between Hayes and the Rams is an obvious one.
St. Louis head coach Jeff Fisher was the man who drafted Hayes and gave him his first opportunity in the league. It should come as no surprise that Fisher is giving Hayes another chance to show off his skills.
