The Arizona Cardinals have been in a market for a quarterback this offseason. Kevin Kolb, John Skelton and Ryan Lindley were the team’s quarterbacks a season ago and they have been looking for a drastic improvement. They currently have restricted free agent Brian Hoyer and they have added another signal-caller to the mix. The latest quarterback to join the Cardinals is Drew Stanton.

Stanton’s agent confirmed the signing of a three-year deal on Twitter:

There will obviously be more shake ups on the quarterback depth chart, with five signal-callers in the mix. Kevin Kolb is a strong candidate to be released with a roster bonus looming.

When it is all said and done, I would fully expect Stanton or Hoyer to be the most serious options to become the team’s starting quarterback.
