The Buffalo Bills didn’t waste much time finding a linebacker to add to their roster. On Wednesday morning, it was reported that the team has reached an agreement with former San Francisco 49ers first-round pick and Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Manny Lawson.

It is a four-year deal for Lawson.

Lawson has only 331 tackles, 18 sacks and two interceptions since joining the league in 2006, but he still has a lot of untapped potential and could shine in Buffalo. When you talk about speedy linebackers in the NFL, Lawson is certainly near the top of that list. It is just time for him to put everything together and live up to his talent level.

Who know, maybe one of the Buffalo Bills next moves will be adding a quarterback in the draft from Lawson’s alma mater — the North Carolina State Wolfpack.
