St. Louis Rams Hosting Jake Long, Louis Delmas Today
By Josh Sanchez
The St. Louis Rams made two moves yesterday that should help the team moving forward. On the first day of free agency, head coach Jeff Fisher lured former Tennessee Titans tight end Jared Cook and defensive end William Hayes to town and the team could be adding two more big name free agents today.
St. Louis will be hosting offensive tackle Jake Long and safety Louis Delmas on Wednesday and there is a growing belief that neither player will leave town without a contract.
The big question for Long and Delmas is whether they pass their physicals. If they get a clean bill of health, a contract will shortly follow.
Long and Delmas are both players with incredible talent, but they have been plagued with a number of injuries throughout their pro careers. However, if the two players would come at a relatively cheap price, they would be worth the money and will help out Fisher as he continues to add talent to the Rams once bare roster.
