NFL Free Agency 2013 : Day Two Recap

The 2013 NFL Free Agency period began at 4:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday and the news was coming in at a rapid rate. With the high volume of news that came in when the new league year began, it is very possible that you could have missed one or more of your team’s signings and where the big free agents signed around the league.

While some players were signed to contracts on the second day of free agency, a lot of players are still floating around but are linked to numerous teams:
- The Green Bay Packers are reportedly close to signing running back Steven Jackson
- Darrelle Revis may be headed to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but the Jets are getting hung up on what they want in return for him. Still, a deal is close and expected to be made in the next few days.
- Despite an erroneous rumor that he was signing with the St. Louis Rams, offensive tackle Jake Long may end up back in Miami as the Dolphins are open to the idea of bringing him back.
- Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson came out and said that he wants his team to go after free agent wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey in the coming days.
- Tight ends were on the move on Wednesday, as the Chicago Bears cut Kellen Davis while free agents Dustin Keller visited the Miami Dolphins and the Cleveland Browns met with Fred Davis.
