Golf Channel personality and co-host of “The Morning Drive”, and “School of Golf” will be on the cover of Golf Digest’s May issue. The issue will be featuring a “Get Fit” theme, and the former Michigan State Spartan will be the star of the show. She played on the 2007 Big Ten Women’s Championship Golf Team.

"I was told on a Sunday in February that I’d been chosen to be featured on the cover of the May Golf Digest, which is an incredible honor. I figured I had weeks to hit the gym before the shoot. Nope. Three days later I was in New York."

The very hot..! Sonders is a 3 to 4 handicap, and is a fanatic about her fitness regimen. She has served as both a sideline reporter, and news reporter. She began at The Golf Channel in early 2011, reporting tournament updates, and eventually landed on Morning Drive.

When asked what kind of golfer she was:

"I play from the reds now, but if I would tee it up from like 6,400 to 6,500 yards, I’d be about a 3- or a 4-handicap. I played with Natalie Gulbis the other day, and I was 30 yards behind her off the tee. At 150 yards, I’m hitting an easy 6-iron."
