Former Alabama Crimson Tide defensive back Dee Milliner has been linked to the Cleveland Browns in a majority of mock drafts, and with the 2013 NFL Draft less than two weeks away, he is excited about the possibility of joining the team.

Milliner spoke with Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer and told her that he believes he and Joe Haden could team up and immediately become one of the top cornerback duos in the league.

I really think we can,” Milliner said. “Not to be cocky or anything, but I think we’d be two really dynamic players who could go out and do great things for this defense.”

When Milliner was asked if there was a current cornerback duo that would be better than he and Haden he said, “No, not right now, I don’t think so. Oh man, that would be awesome. I think we’d make a great combo and we’d accomplish some great things together.”

Seattle’s Richard Sherman and Brandon Browner may have some other thoughts on who the top cornerback duo is, but Milliner’s potential next to Haden’s talent would certainly be an excellent set of corners in Cleveland.

If Milliner were to join the Browns, he would also be joining former college teammate Trent Richardson.

It would be a great situation for Milliner and the pick would fill a need for Cleveland. This is the kind of move that almost seems too good to be true.
