NFL Draft 2013: Carolina Panthers Select Star Lotulelei
By Josh Sanchez
The Carolina Panthers patiently waited with the No. 14 pick in the draft and watched a top five talent fall right in to their laps. Thanks to the early run on offensive lineman, the Panthers were able to select Utah’s Star Lotulelei.
Lotulelei is a dominating presence in the interior defensive line and he will be able to eat up blockers that will allow linebacker Luke Kuechly to run free.
With Lotulelei on the board, this was a no-brainer for the Panthers. For the Panthers, this selection was a home run.
