Nazr Mohammed is a very, very angry man this morning. Not only did his Chicago Bulls lose a critical Game 3 showdown with the Miami Heat, he wasn’t a part of it after being ejected in the first quarter of the game for shoving LeBron James. While Mohammed admitted that he was in the wrong for shoving LeBron and shouldn’t have done it, he doesn’t believe an ejection was necessary from the officials.

“I’ll be shocked if anything else happens,” Mohammed said, via K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune. “I was surprised I got kicked out for a push.”

Mohammed said that he was attempting a stop-the-break foul on LeBron when he himself was thrown down a bit by the MVP of the NBA. So while the Bulls are getting drunk on their own flopping conspiracy, LeBron definitely isn’t in the clear here and without a doubt instigated the incident.

“It was a soft foul; it’s not like a fouled him hard. It was a stop-the-break foul,” Mohammed said. “I thought it was a cheap shot throwing me down when all I was doing was trying to stop the break.”

Still, it’s the NBA Playoffs and you’re in an absolute battle with the Miami Heat. In no universe do you give in to LeBron James’ head games or his antics no matter how childish they are because they’re designed to get you busted, not the other way around. Mohammed acknowledges all of this and said after the game that the worst part about the incident was that his son probably saw him shove another guy during a game.

“I’m disappointed in myself because I let my teammates down,” he said. “And I’m also disappointed because my son probably was watching the game and I don’t want him to see that type of behavior on the court. I’m also disappointed that it warranted an ejection for a push — when I got pushed down first.”

Chicago is letting their emotions boil over and clearly the Heat are getting the best of them.
