New York is in a bit of a pickle as they’re entering Game 5 of their series against the Indiana Pacers backed against a wall. Rather than returning home with a chance to end the series, the series may end up closing out with New York on the wrong side of things.

As for the Pacers, they’ve stormed out of nowhere it seems to be in a position to knock off the 2-seeded Knicks. Indiana is getting production all over the court, both defensively and offensively and it’s that combination of viciousness that has them up 3-1 in the series. New York has only themselves to blame for this as only Carmelo Anthony has shown up in the series so far and injuries have sunk the Knicks deep into a hole.

The series may not end tonight in New York, but judging from the way things have been going it’s looking like Knicks fans may want it to in order to end the pain.
