After game four of the eastern conference finals between the Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers, the game itself got a little tense as 55 fouls were called, some of which were controversial. This caused the league to review the fallout of the game to determine whether some fouls were uncalled for.

After reviewing the tape they decided to fine Lebron James, David West and Lance Stephenson $5,000 each for flopping.

Both James and West were fined for their double-flop performance as shown above. If you look under the basket where James is covering West, West goes to post up and the two of them make contact which caused them to flop on the ground. That was some bad acting. Good call by the league.

Also fined was Pacers’ guard Lance Stephenson for his performance on a different play.

If you look at the video closely, Stephenson tried to get a call for his attempt to get fouled by Ray Allen.

As well, West’s foul on Dwayne Wade with six minutes left in the fourth quarter was upgraded to a flagrant-1 by the league.

Although they were all fined, don’t expect either of them to stop trying to sell calls in the future. The Pacers and Heat are both tied 2-2 in a tense fought out series and James even said he has no problem trying to get calls.
