Larry Fitzgerald has spent his career with the Arizona Cardinals and has been wasting his prime years without a capable quarterback over the past few seasons, but he seems to be very happy about this season and his new signal-caller Carson Palmer.

“He’s got great touch on his intermediate passes — he can put zip on them or he can feather it in there,” Fitzgerald said, via the Associated Press.. “And then he’s got the intelligence and experience to go out there and make plays. I’ve seen him do it. He threw for 4,000 yards in Oakland.”

The kind words didn’t stop there.

Palmer also gave his star receiver a solid endorsement and compared him to one of the most physically gifted players in the game.

It’s been awesome,” Palmer said. “I threw him a ball today that he and maybe Megatron catch. He’s maybe not one of a kind but one of two of a kind.”

If Palmer and Fitzgerald are able to get some chemistry to go along with their kind words for each other, Arizona fans should be excited about the new level this offense can get to with Palmer running the show.
