The Oklahoma City Thunder had a very depressing postseason that saw star point guard Russell Westbrook tear up his knee and the team tear up their NBA Finals ticket not too long after that. So given that the Thunder don’t have much to be happy about, it should come as no surprise that Westbrook has resorted to singing Taylor Swift songs on his newly acquired ‘VINE’ account.

Thankfully for everyone in the world, Westbrook is one of the best basketball players in the game today so he doesn’t have to resort to a career as a pop star — because it wouldn’t go very well. I didn’t think it was possible for Taylor Swift to sound any worse than she actually does and then Westbrook opened my eyes and pierced my ear drums with a whole different brand of suck.

You’ve got to hand it to Westbrook though, as he’s taking his recovery a lot better than Chicago Bulls star Derrick Rose did where he pretty much moped around with his walker for a year.

Using the crutch as a guitar is what pulls this all together and reminds us that Westbrook acts as snazzy as he dresses for post game press conferences. Hopefully he keeps his lives as a fashionista and a pop star separate, but on the other hand having him sing his post game press conferences would be worth the price of admission to the game itself.
