Tim Duncan seemingly resurrected his career this season. Thanks to Gregg Popovich’s great minute management, Duncan was mostly fresh throughout the season and his numbers jumped up. But is this his last chance to win an NBA championship?

Timmy is already a four-time NBA champion, but a fifth ring would only solidify his legacy as one of the greatest, if not the greatest, power forwards in the history of the sport.

We have counted out the San Antonio Spurs so many times now, yet here they are, one game away from winning another championship with the same, aging core and young role players.

Duncan made the All-Star game and was in the All-NBA First Team this season, but he has shown signs of slowing down. While he still shows signs of excellence, he is losing some of his consistency. With Manu Ginobili on his last legs, could this be the last run for Duncan? It could, but, again, we have said this so many times, and with Tony Parker playing an excellent brand of basketball through the whole year and role players such as Kawhi Leonard, Danny Green and Gary Neal developing into very solid contributors, it wouldn’t be surprising if this veteran-led group would find themselves back in the title race next season.
