Sydney Leroux to Pose Nude in ESPN the Magazine’s ‘The Body Issue’

The fine folks at ESPN are announcing the athletes who will be posing artistically nude in their 2013 issue of ESPN the Magazine “The Body” Issue, which hits shelves on July 12. Twenty-one athletes have been chosen for the honor, and one of the women is controversial United States/Canadian soccer star Sydney Leroux.
While there is some debate over whether Leroux should play for the United States women’s team or the Canadian women’s squad, everyone will put those judgments aside when they open up their July 2013 issue of ESPN the Magazine.
Leroux has certainly earned the attention that she will receive from this opportunity from her play on the field and it is great to see her hitting the main stream newsstands.
According to ESPN officials, other athletes featured in the magazine will be Matt Harvey, Colin Kaepernick, Kenneth Faried, Kerri Walsh Jennings, Giancarlo Stanton, Swin Cash, John Wall, Vernon Davis, John Isner, Miesha Tate, Carly Booth, Joffrey Lupul, Elena Hight, Agnieszka Radwanska, Chris Sharma, Daila Ojeda, Marlen Esparza, Tarah Gieger and 77-year-old Gary Player.
