Buckle up, everyone. It looks like a blockbuster deal between the Boston Celtics and Brooklyn Nets could be in the works. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, the two sides are discussing a deal that would ship veteran stars Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce to the Nets.

Since trading away head coach Doc Rivers, it seemed all but certain that Pierce and Garnett would follow him out the door, but the Nets have only recently surfaced as a potential suitor.

While the Nets would add talent to go along with point guard Deron Williams, the Celtics would be able to truly commit to their rebuilding efforts. It would be a win-win for both sides.

As for what the Nets would need to give up for Pierce and Garnett:

This would obviously be a huge deal that would shake up the Eastern Conference, so stay tuned as we continue to update the information as it becomes available.
