While the details continue to emerge surrounding the murder investigation that involves former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez, the details are painting Hernandez in an even darker picture.

According to an affidavit and search warrants that were unsealed on Tuesday, Hernandez was “argumentative” with police officers when they first showed up at his door for questioning.

Hernandez reportedly told police that he had rented the SUV connected to the crime for Lloyd and that he had not seen him since being in Boston the day before. This was obviously untrue as the rest of the evidence shows, and police continued to question Hernandez.

After he was told that they were there as part of a murder investigation, Hernandez reportedly went back inside and locked the door behind him.

He later came out of his home and agreed to answer questions at a local police station, but his first impression with the law enforcement officials was far from impressive.

We will continue to learn more about the case as more and more documents are unsealed, but it continues to appear like a serious uphill battle for Hernandez, who is facing a first-degree murder charge.
