Much has been said about Rajon Rondo and his future with the Boston Celtics after the team dumped both Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce before going on and acquiring a young coach by the name of Brad Stevens.

Many have wondered if the Celtics will continue the all-out rebuilding project by shipping Rondo away as well, but Stevens has come out publicly to support his star point guard.

According to Baxter Holmes of Boston.com, Stevens showed up at Rondo’s camp in Louisville and dropped this quote to the media:

"“There is no bigger fan of Rajon Rondo than me,” Stevens said.Stevens later added, “I’m looking forward to sitting down and learning from him.”"

Right now it appears all is right in Boston. Well, unless you’re the New England Patriots.

Anyway, Rondo for now appears to be sticking around. It’s a nice gesture by Stevens and one that is creating the right buzz in the media. Don’t expect anything to change on this front in the near future.
