Richardson is our second Vereen-lite selection. A seventh round pick out of Abilene Christian, the Division II star quickly dispatched Isaiah Pead in the battle to back up Steven Jackson. Entering year two, most experts have jumped aboard the Pead bandwagon, but early mocks suggest the wisdom of crowds is primed to win another battle with the pundits. Richardson is knocked for his size, but Pead lacks the size or speed to be an NFL starter.

The Rams have made a lot of noise about moving to a Patriots-style attack. A usually reticent Jeff Fisher donned Sam Bradford’s special line of cerise-hued spectacles early in OTAs. He hasn’t taken them off since. Slip them on for yourself, deal with the temporary vertigo, and when the picture clears Zac Stacy should look a lot like Stevan Ridley with Daryl Richardson doing his best Danny Woodhead.

But would an uber-Woodhead have value?
