It has been a rough start to his NFL career for Washington Redskins linebacker Keenan Robinson. After suffering a torn right pectoral lat last season to cut his rookie year short, he opens up his sophomore campaign by tearing his left pectoral muscle on the first day of training camp.

From Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network:

You have to feel bad for the guy, who was looking to establish himself on the field this season.

Instead, he will now be out for the entire season and be forced to look towards 2014 to make his mark.

Unfortunately for Robinson, the injuries that have haunted him early in his career and derailed his hopes of being an impact player could also put his spot on the Redskins roster in jeopardy as the team enters next season’s camp.
