Revenge is a dished best served with a hit over the middle (but not too high on the body, nor too aggressively. We want to protect the players and all).

Seattle Seahawks cornerback Antoine Winfield says he’s not still upset over being cut by his old team, the Minnesota Vikings, back in March. That doesn’t mean, however, that Winfield isn’t excited to take on his former employer on November 18th of this upcoming NFL season. As Winfield said to USA Today last week: “Oh, my. It’s circled. I can’t wait to play against those guys.”

Sounds like somebody wants some vengeance. Can’t you just hear the blood-lust oozing in the subtext?

Winfield made three Pro Bowls while a member of the Vikings and was selected to the All-Pro team once (2008).

Interestingly, Winfield isn’t the only ex-Viking on the Seahawks roster. Joining him are Percy Harvin, Sidney Rice, Tarvaris Jackson, and Heath Farwell, three of whom played on the 2009 Vikings team that went all the way to the conference championship game.
