The Dallas Cowboys interior offensive line has been of some concern for the past few seasons. The Dallas Cowboys addressed it with their first round draft pick by selecting center/guard Travis Frederick. He’ll spend time at center and will be Tony Romo’s 6th center in his tenure with the Cowboys.

Livings didn’t practice Thursday as he nursed a knee injury. He sat out a few of the first training camp sessions with a foot injury. The Dallas Cowboys have 5 guards, yes 5, nursing injuries: Mackenzy Bernadeau, Kevin Kowalski, Ryan Cook and Ray Dominguez.

Livings had surgery in the offseason on his right knee but quickly re-injured it in OTAs. The Cowboys might be forced to replace him despite how well he played last season.

“He does have a health situation,” head coach Jason Garrett said, via Rainer Sabin of the Dallas Morning News. “He hasn’t practiced a lot in training camp and he is kind of managing his way through a couple of different deals. So we will just manage him day by day and see how he does. It’s still very early….We have to make sure we do a good job managing our guys, especially the older guys that are banged up a little bit.”
