The Green Bay Packers have resurrected Vince Young’s ailing football career by signing the quarterback to a one year deal according to ESPN’s Josina Anderson. The deal is only for one season however meaning Vince Young’s career isn’t entirely out of the gutter.

No financial details of the deal were immediately available.

With Aaron Rodgers as the Packers starting quarterback Vince Young will get next to no playing time. That won’t really afford him an opportunity to show off his ability to still play. If the Packers however see evidence that he could be a reliable back up there is always the chance they could keep him around.

It at least brings Vince Young a much needed pay check.

Graham Harrell and B.J. Coleman are currently listed as Rodgers back ups for the Packers. They must be losing faith in their abilities early in training camp.
