Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Riley Cooper has returned to the team and will practice today according to NFL Network’s Albert Breer.

Riley Cooper had been away from the team to allow for the wounds his words created. Cooper was supposed to be seeking treatment for his insensitive comments in his away time as well. Apparently it doesn’t take long to cure racism, four days to be exact.

Thankfully for Copper, Eagles head coach Chip Kelly had decided to not allow players to tackle in camp practices.

It could be because the Eagles need Cooper in practice as the offense struggles, it could be that the wounds have healed and the team is willing to accept him back. We don’t have anymore details than that lone tweet from Breer.

Chip Kelly is being commended for his handling of the situation, and he even reached out to Tony Dungy for advice.

Cooper will be practicing with former Florida teammate Tim Tebow today as well.
