When Matt Leinart and John Beck are getting calls, you know that quarterback situations are getting desperate. That is the case with the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills, according to Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News. Thanks to injuries at the position, both Leinart and Beck have received two workouts.

The two signal-callers will first be working out with the Bills at some point on Sunday.

If neither player is signed, then they will make the trip to New York for a workout with the Jets.

The Jets quarterback situation got even worse on Saturday night when head coach Rex Ryan inexplicably placed potential starter Mark Sanchez in the game in the fourth quarter with all of the back ups. Sanchez eventually got hit hard by Marvin Austinand suffered a shoulder injury that will require x-rays.

Before Ryan’s horrible mismanagement of his roster, rookie Geno Smith stunk up the joint in his first start in the league.

It’s going to be a circus in New York and we are still two weeks away from the start of the season. Buckle up.
