The San Diego Chargers are the latest team to begin working their way down to the 75-man roster limit for Tuesday afternoon’s deadline and they made a total of ten cuts to get closer to the magic number.

Among the cuts was wide receiver Deon Butler, who is the biggest name of the bunch.

When you consider how crowded the Chargers are at wide receiver and the fact that Butler has never really shined during his time with the team, the decision was a no-brainer.

Running back Edwin Baker, tight end Dallas Walker, quarterback Nathan Enderle, center Colin Baxter, guard Brandyn Dombrowski, punter Richard Kent, defensive lineman Jamarkus McFarland, safety Tony Burnett and cornerback Greg Brown were the other players who were delivered their walking papers from general manager Tom Telesco.

While Tuesday afternoon marks the deadline to get down to 75 players, NFL teams will have until 6:00 p.m. ET on Saturday to make the final cuts and find themselves with their final 53-man roster for the 2013-14 NFL season.
