New York Giants running back Andre Brown had a chance to carry the ball into the end zone in their preseason game against the New York Jets. Instead he was stuffed at the four yard line on what would be his final preseason carry with he first time. That was devastating to the back.

“That killed me,” Brown said, via the New York Daily News. “I was like ‘Oh, how the hell did we not get it in?’ Especially me, I pride myself on being a goal-line back.”

“That’s definitely an alarm, and it’s kind of scary, because we go out there and we’ve been in good field position, and to come away with a field goal in some of those situations, it makes you a little bit frustrated,” added Wilson. “And a little bit nervous going into the season, knowing the time is ticking down.”

Brown has one goal for Thursday’s preseason game: get into the end zone and score a touchdown.

“First,” he says, “definitely score a touchdown.”

That is one of many things that the Giants need to work on before heading into the regular season.
