The Seattle Seahawks trade for wide receiver Percy Harvin has not gone as planned yet. Harvin needed hip surgery before training camp and will miss most of the season as a result, and there is still the chance that he could never take the field this year.

Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll was speaking on the radio today concerning Harvin’s injury and he made it clear that there is no current timetable for the receivers return to action.

The good news is that Carroll said Harvin has been “progressing well.”

From Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times:

With the uncertainty surrounding Harvin, you should be cautious if you are thinking about considering him in your fantasy draft. However, if you are in a very deep league, he could be worth stashing away for use down the final stretch in the case that he is able to return in December.
