There has been plenty of speculation that the Kansas City Chiefs Dunta Robinson will miss the team’s match up on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys. Robinson is listed on the team’s injury report as questionable because of personal reasons, but Pro Football Talk is reporting that they confirmed Robinson will miss the match up.

According to reports, Robinson’s cousin was struck by a car and has been unconscious since the accident. Robinson’s cousin is currently in the ICU, so Robinson will choose to be with his family rather than suit up for the team.

It’s a very understanding decision for Robinson to make, but it could be a huge loss for the Chiefs as they figure out how to match up with the Cowboys wide receivers in Week Two.

Outside of Brandon Flowers and Sean Smith, the Chiefs depth at the position is very slim. Covering Dez Bryant, Miles Austin and Terrance Williams will be no easy task and the Chiefs secondary could be in for a long day.
