The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are hosting the New Orleans Saints at Raymond James Stadium, but we haven’t seen much action thanks to a rain delay after lightning was spotted in the area.

The game was delayed, but it is expected to resume soon once the players return to the field for a ten minute warm up.

Tampa Bay will have the ball when the teams return to action.

At the time of the delay, the New Orleans Saints held a 3-0 lead with ten and a half minutes in the first quarter remaining on the clock.

It will be interesting to see how both teams stayed warm during the delay and whether or not it will affect the players once the play is re-started.

It is never easy to prepare for a game and warm up only to have the action stopped minutes later, so this could be something to keep an eye on once the game continues.

Both teams are now preparing to return to the field.
