Katherine Webb denies break up with AJ McCarron

Somewhere Brent Musburger is very happy, there are reports that Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron and his girlfriend Katherine Webb have broken up. Radar Online reports that Katherine’s mother confirmed the break up.

From Radar Online:

"“Yes [they’ve broken up],” Katherine’s mother, Leslie Webb, confirmed to Radar. “Katherine’s just trying to stay real busy.”While Webb was out of town at the Spike TV Awards in June, McCarron spent the night with blonde lingerie model Margaret Wood – as Radar exclusively reported.Though the couple seemed to weather the storm at first, continuing to post lovey-dovey pics on Twitter, they became even more distant as McCarron entered training for football season this fall.Webb was solo on the red carpet at the ESPY Awards in July while McCarron was at quarterback camp, and her brother, Matthew Webb, told Radar “I can’t say anything about it,” when asked about a split.But now, it’s official. A source close to McCarron tells Radar, “It might end up just being a break, but for now they’ve called it quits,” confirming what Webb’s mother revealed."

And as the internet rumors around their break up swirled, Katherine Webb tweeted out this denial of reports.

"This information is false, according to Webb. The model-turned-television star quickly moved to quash the rumor, tweeting out that the site has harassed her family and no such breakup has occurred. She has since deleted the tweet for some reason, but the original message read:@radar_online has called and harassed my family at their house multiple times. Their story is FALSE. Thank you."

They’re both really busy with their schedules and I’m sure there is some strain on their relationship. Ending it though because of their busy schedules would be a rash move.

For now it seems like they’re together with Webb’s denial. But Radar Online would point out that they stopped following each other on Twitter.
