It looks like the commercial of Kevin Durant and Dwyane Wade having nightmares about one another is closer to real life and further from fiction than we knew.

In a recent interview, Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Kevin Durant said that his former Thunder teammate, and current Houston Rockets star, James Harden is a better basketball player than Dwyane Wade.

Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade took exception to that suggestion, though many might agree, and responded on his Instagram account.

Dwyane Wade’s Heat beat Kevin Durant and Oklahoma City in the Finals two years ago, which is where the “make him respect my place in history….again….” comment comes from.

Kevin Durant responded with this tweet:

Wade certainly has the rings to win the argument, of course you could say he isn’t, nor ever was, the player that Durant his. He has become injury prone and a secondary player on that team that is carried by LeBron James.

Harden isn’t a bad player either and I’m sure Durant isn’t the only one who thinks he is better than Wade is currently. It’ll be an interesting match up to watch this year when Durant and Wade, or Harden and Wade square off. There is a good chance Wade could run into either in the NBA Finals.
